Condition A-: minor repaired tears and creases at edges and along vertical and horizontal folds; pin holes in corners.

Commemorating the world's first nonstop transpolar flight. Pictured (from left to right) are Soviet airmen Valerii Chkalov, Georgii Baidukov and Aleksandr Beliakov. Sherman studied at the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts, then in Vienna and Paris, before returning to Latvia, where he joined an anti-fascist organization of revolutionary writers and artists. He worked for a Moscow publishing house in the late 1930s.
